UCW: United Church Workers

A little history about our fair:

The women, assisted by the men of this historic church, have given to our community quality hand crafted goods, food, jams, jellies, baked goods, and greens from colonial times to the present. In the 1700's, they made and sold what they called "fancy work". The "Annual Holiday Fair" was instituted in 1947 in a format similar to what we have today.   It has become a popular event that draws people from miles around to shop for last minute gifts, to socialize, and to see what new products we have created. We are proud to continue the tradition.

The UCW First Congregational Church of South Windsor, United Church of Christ is open to all members and friends.  We encourage you to join us for fun and fellowship at our programs.  You do not need to be a member to attend these activities.

Work for our fair begins in late January to prepare for next year’s fair. We meet almost every Friday from 1:00-4:00pm throughout the year.  Come join us!
